Join our Growing Technical Team - 2nd / 3rd Line IT Engineer

Senior Service Engineer
Due to continued expansion, BlueShield IT are looking for an experienced 2nd / 3rd Line IT engineer to join our growing Technical Team, providing support both remotely and at client sites.
Main duties will include:
To receive and manage client support requests via our helpdesk system.
To troubleshoot and resolve customer issues.
Proactively help resolve support tickets and communicate client updates.
To conduct and manage Server and Network infrastructure installations, hardware refresh and other projects as required.
Installation of any new hardware equipment and software at client premises.
Be proactive and identify efficient methods for deploying projects and solutions.
Take responsibility for delivery of projects working alongside our Technical Director.
Ensure all projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Always maintain client relationships and communications.
Enhance and grow their IT skills and knowledge by self study, and company assisted training courses.
Candidate Requirements
Essential Experience
Minimum of 3 years proven technical IT skills.
Microsoft 365 Certification or above.
Microsoft 365 technical skills.
ComptTIA Network+ or Cisco Networking Certification.
Microsoft Windows 10 / 11Professional Operating Systems, and current Apple MacOS.
Microsoft Azure Active Directory.
Microsoft Office 365 applications suite.
Desirable Experience
Full UK driving license.
Impetus for self-improvement and learning the latest IT solutions & technologies.
Interest or experience of Cyber Security tools and solutions.
Experience of working for a Managed Service Provider.
Microsoft SharePoint / Teams experience.
Windows Server 2016 and above.
On premise and cloud backup solutions.
ESET Anti-Virus and Endpoint Security Solutions.
Hyper-V Server Virtualisation.
